The project
SRB Consulting is an established Austrian SAP consulting company specializing in enterprise software solutions and digital business transformation. The project involved a complete redesign and technical modernization of its corporate website, replacing an outdated proprietary CMS with a flexible, high-performance platform.
What was built
The new website was built using Astro and Strapi 5, featuring a custom design system with approximately 100 components and 36 reusable content blocks. The platform supports multilingual content, flexible page creation, lead generation, and online appointment booking. A major focus was placed on SEO, accessibility, performance, security, and GDPR-compliant analytics. Approximately 120 existing articles were migrated while preserving their original URLs through redirects.
My role
I was responsible for the full-stack development and technical delivery of the platform, including frontend architecture, CMS configuration, API integrations, and deployment. I implemented integrations with Microsoft Bookings, marketing and analytics services, and infrastructure components such as Varnish and imgproxy. The resulting website achieved Lighthouse scores of 100 for SEO and Best Practices, and 97 for Accessibility.
