The project
HYDROGRID Insight is an advanced client dashboard built for HYDROGRID's optimization models, enabling users to review and modify hydro powerplant operations, specifically focusing on production efficiency. The dashboard is instrumental in providing a clear and actionable overview of the plant's current functionality and performance metrics.
What was built
The backend of the system processes over 50 variables to generate and suggest the most profitable electricity production strategies. These strategies, along with real-time operational data, are visually presented through multi-axes charts and graphs within the dashboard, ensuring that users can make informed decisions at a glance.
My role
As part of this project, I was responsible for creating the frontend architecture, redesigning the existing frontend, and implementing key software lifecycle principles. Additionally, I developed a dynamic visualization of hydro powerplant topology using the vis.js library, which further enhanced the users' ability to manage complex system interactions.
